excitement about the work and her willingness to learn. She asked me a ton of questions during comp study because she said she wanted my wisdom..it really made me think about my mission and realize how much
I have learned. She was making me all nostalgic!
Then I got to go to Darmstadt and split with sister Markl! She's from Switzerland and I love her too. She planned contacting activities for our entire split..yay! They need new investigators and we sure found
some! We did doors, streets, and bus and train contacting. She's been through a lot on her mission and she's also training right now:) it was so fun to talk about missionary work together and just to laugh and have fun. Basically I just love splits. We also did two mini splits with the international sisters here. We keep trying to pass off investigators to each other. Sister Parker and I went on some adventures together and walked a lot to get places. And the sister Bakker and I taught Christopher together. It went so well! That's probably the best news of the week. I feel like he is committed now and he's going to make his Baptism on the 14th! He came to church yesterday too:)
Yesterday at church I got way way sad that I'm leaving soon. I got to play the piano for primary and for the ward choir and they all told me I'm not allowed to be transferred and I had to tell them I'm going home. Not fun. I love Germany. I love the Germans. I love the missionaries-they seriously have become my family here. I love being a missionary. And I love this gospel. This week I've been thinking a lot about how we choose to be happy.
That is the key to being on a mission and I feel like the key to everything! Sometimes I find myself forgetting that it's my choice. And then I think of my dad's favorite quote: “life is what you make it”. We have so many reasons to choose to be happy too! I'm grateful for the knowledge that Christ is my savior and that everything is made right through Him.
Well the time is going by super fast and I'm choosing to enjoy these last few weeks:)
