My district has become even closer. We play super dumb games that keep us entertained, but we also know when to focus. Our zone is working on "strict obedience" to all the rules, so we set goals to be on time to everything and to be prepared for everything. We got a new teacher this week. He is actually the "investigator" that we taught first. He just got home from the frankfurt mission 3 months ago and you can really tell that he loves the german people and he loves germany! it's making me so excited to be able to go there.
Sister Hyatt and I have two new investigators. The first is Gabriel. He is very shy and hesitant about everything. It's going to be interesting to see if we can get him to open up and talk to us! The other is Christian. We taught him for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely awful! He is very educated and philosophical. We need to help him understand that God is an actual being and that His gospel is on the earth. I really love teaching. Even though we are actually teaching our teachers, we are learning so much and you can feel the Spirit!
The language has its ups and downs. We are learning a lot about grammar lately, so that has been interesting. We basically just spit out words and hope that people understand us because we don't know much about sentence structure yet! I'm trying to be patient with myself and to remember that the language will come. Our teachers tell us over and over again that as long as we are studying and learning the lessons, the language will come and we need to be most concerned about letting the spirit work through us.
We were eating breakfast this morning and the MTC president came and sat with us! He is so nice and caring. I can't imagine how big of a responsibility he has! He gave us very encouraging words and advice. We get to hear great talks all throughout the week and there are so many people who volunteer to help us learn and to practice teaching. We are very blessed!
I want to hear how everyone is doing with the move! I hope that Andrea is doing okay and I'm praying for all of you every day. I'm so grateful for all the letters that I'm getting. I sent some to you guys in the mail yesterday, so I hope you get them soon! I'll write you a letter later today so I can tell you more, but this is all I have time for today!
We keep hearing stories over and over again about how God is preparing people to receive his message and I'm so excited to be able to share the joy of the gospel with those who don't have it. I love you all! I hope you have a great week.
